Clean Shirt Co. is a locally owned, community-focused laundromat and garment-care company based in downtown Eau Claire, Wisconsin.
We offer self-serve laundry, wash-dry-fold service, commercial laundry solutions, and premium White Glove garment care — all designed to provide a clean, welcoming, and elevated experience.
Meet Amanda & Julie
Founders of Clean Shirt Co.
Clean Shirt Co. was founded by Amanda Garner and Julie Endvick — longtime family members, Wisconsin natives, and working moms with nine kids between them.
But more than that, we’re operators.
Amanda brings a background in finance and business strategy. Julie brings 15 years in education and a deep understanding of people, systems, and service. Together, we saw an opportunity to take something ordinary — laundry — and raise the standard for what a laundromat in Eau Claire could be.
When we opened Clean Shirt Co., we didn’t just want clean machines. We wanted a space that felt safe, welcoming, and thoughtfully run. Fully staffed. Consistently clean. Friendly. Efficient. Elevated, but accessible.
Laundry is essential. We believe it deserves care.
It isn't just us, though.
Our husbands-Kyle and Rich-deserve a little love here too. Kyle became our unofficial social media manager (read: tech support and idea filter), and Rich, our resident painter and "I guess I'll fix that" guy. They've cheered us on, carried heavy things, been Mr. Mom when we've had to work late nights, and survived more business brainstorms than they probably signed up for.
We didn't grow up dreaming of laundromats - but we did dream of creating something useful, community-driven and not boring as hell. And let's be honest: laundry is one of those things that never goes away.
So why not make it better? Cleaner. Cooler. A place people want to go instead of a place they dread.
We poured everything we had into it: our time, our savings, our stories. We gutted a building downtown, got our hands dirty and faced every curveball with grit and grace - okay, and some wine.
